Ken Sanders also agreed to put some money into the film to get the ball rolling in the early stages with the provision that Holyfield would make a cameo. We filmed this in 1988-89 (I was Bobby Evans), and Evander was big news, and a great guy to work with. Hell, Tony Gardner was in charge of the FX, so there was some serious talent involved.
